"How Do We Care for Our City?"

Pastor Akin taught that God has intentionally placed believers in their city to care for it, just as He placed the Israelites in Babylon. He emphasized that Christians must see their city as a mission field full of broken people whom God is calling them to reach. The sermon outlined three ways to care for our city: building godly families, strengthening the city through Christian involvement in business and civic life, and praying for the city. Akin stressed that instead of withdrawing or complaining, Christians should be part of the solution to their city's problems.
