"Caring for The Vulnerable"

Pastor Creasy addressed how First Baptist Douglasville should live on mission by caring for the vulnerable. He defined the vulnerable as at-risk, marginalized individuals who cannot help themselves or repay those who help them - including orphans, widows, the unborn, addicts, refugees, and trafficking victims. He argued that Christians should care for the vulnerable for three reasons: it reflects God's heart, it is the fruit of the gospel, and it is the result of true worship. The pastor emphasized that understanding our own spiritual vulnerability before Christ motivates us to care for others.
