"Serve the Lord"

Pastor Byrd defined boldness as showing the ability to take risks because of confidence you have. He taught that we can be bold in the face of danger because the Lord is God of heaven and earth. Using Rahab as an example, he showed two ways to be bold: standing up against wickedness and standing for salvation. Rahab hid the Israelite spies and lied to protect them, demonstrating boldness against her own nation's wickedness. She treasured God's promises and acted on His word, recognizing that God would give Israel the land.
