"Be Courageous"

Pastor Akin began a new series called "Already Won" covering Joshua, Judges, Ruth, and 1 Samuel. He explained that life is a constant battle with various challenges, but Christians can be courageous because Christ has already won. The main idea is to be courageous when facing battles knowing they have already been won in Christ. Pastor Akin showed how Joshua points to Jesus, noting that both names mean "the Lord saves." He outlined two ways to be courageous: first, trust God's promises. God gave Joshua three promises that Christians can claim - the promise of inheritance, victory, and presence. These same promises apply to believers today through their eternal inheritance in Christ.
