Gospel Culture

Pastor Moss introduced the concept of gospel culture, distinguishing it from societal culture and defining it as what people feel when they encounter a church community. Using Dabo Swinney's success at Clemson as an illustration, he argued that culture matters as much as mission and vision in organizations. He emphasized that while many churches have gospel proclamation and preaching, few have gospel culture. The main idea was that gospel proclamation leaves gospel culture in its wake. From Romans 15:1-7, he began outlining marks of gospel culture, starting with being selfless individuals who bear with the failings of others rather than pleasing ourselves.
