First Connection is this Sunday, May 3. Join us in the Fellowship Hall to learn more about who FBCD is and where we are going. The class is taught in both English and Spanish and is a great first-step in joining our church family or simply hearing our heart for the gospel, our community, and for making disciples. Childcare and lunch are provided. You can RSVP by clicking the link below. However, walk-ups are always welcome, too.

GLOBAL CAMP
Kids and Student Camp will both take place at Woodland Christian Camp in Temple, GA. Student Camp will be from May 25-29 and Kids Camp will be from May 26-29 so mark your calendars. Costs for each camp is listed below. Registration is now open!

PRAYER GATHERING
May 6
Wednesday, May 6 we will have our monthly Prayer Gathering at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center. This will take the place of regular adult and student Wednesday night programming. Please fill out this link with any prayer requests, and we will pray over these during this time

PRC BABY BOTTLES & MUFFINS WITH MOM
May 10
This Mother’s Day, join us in partnering with the Pregnancy Resource Center. 9 out of 10 women who see their baby through an ultrasound choose life for their unborn child. You can pick up a baby bottle at the Welcome Desk to fill with your donation and return it by May 10. We will also celebrate the women of our church on May 10 by having a time of fellowship and breakfast for Mother’s Day. All are welcome!

SENIOR ADULT TRIP - BOTANICAL GARDEN
May 19
Join us for a tour of the Atlanta Botanical Garden where we will see the spring flowers and spend a great time with friends and fellowship. Lunch to follow at the O.K. Cafe in Atlanta. You will purchase tickets at the garden but RSVP by calling the church office to accommodate for transportation.

SPARX CHEER CAMP
June 8-12 | Registration June 13
Get ready to jump into summer with SparX Cheer Camp! This exciting, Christ-centered cheerleading experience will be held June 8-12 from 4:00-7:00 PM and will focus on stunting. All students entering 1st through 12th grade are invited to come and see what competition cheer is all about while growing in faith and fellowship. The cost is $75, and registration closes on June 1st so don’t wait! Registration for the SparX 2026/27 Cheer Season will follow on Saturday, June 13 with the following times:
Returning cheerleaders: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
New cheerleaders: 1:00-3:00 pm

Summer Blast is a sports and arts camp for kids who have completed grades K-5th grade. Kids will be able to select from a variety of sports, arts, and other fun activities. Make sure to save the date and registration will be opening soon.
