FIRST CONNECTION
February 2

First Connection is this Sunday, February 2. Join us in the Fellowship Hall to learn more about who FBCD is and where we are going. The class is taught in both English and Spanish and is a great first-step in joining our church family or simply hearing our heart for the gospel, our community, and for making disciples. Childcare and lunch are provided. You can RSVP by clicking the link below. However, walk-ups are always welcome, too.

STRAWBERRY FUNDRAISER
Deadline: February 12

Want to help a student go to Global Camp this summer? You can help by purchasing strawberries from the Strawberry Fundraiser. Full Flats: $30.00 & ½ Flat: $15.00. The deadline to purchase is February 12. They will be delivered late February/early March. If you would like to purchase strawberries, participate in selling, or donate to Global Camp, please contact Joan Cole at jcole@gofbcd.org.

KEENAGERS
February 4

Our Keenagers lunch for senior adults is on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 11:00 am. Come out for some great fellowship, food, and singing. We meet on the first Tuesday of every other month. It’s only $10 annually to join. Call the church office for more information at 770-942-5481.

GCA OPEN HOUSE
February 12

Go Christian Academy is hosting an Open House for new families on February 12, 2025. Join us to experience chapel with the students and a tour to follow. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors looking for a great school that is training the next generation to know, love, and obey Jesus. DISASTER RELIEF TRAINING
February 21-22

On February 21-22, there will be disaster relief training in Americus, GA. This training is provided by the Georgia Baptist Mission Board and is required to support their disaster relief efforts. DNOW
February 28 - March 2

Disciple Now (DNow) is a weekend event for students all over the county who are coming together to worship the Lord and grow in their faith. DNow next year will be February 28 – March 2. The cost is $70 per student. If you have any questions about serving or want more information about this event, please contact Pastor Landon at (lmoss@gofbcd.org). Registration is now open.

TUMBLING CLASSES
March 4

Tumbling classes are offered for 1st-12th graders that want to improve their tumbling skills or are interested in cheering in our Go Cheer Ministry for the 2025-26 season. We are offering 4 sessions per month, and you are able to select whether you want your athlete to participate in 4 or 8 sessions. The session for skill levels ranging from beginner to intermediate is Tuesday nights - 6:00-7:00 pm and the advanced class will be Tuesday from 7:00-8:00 pm. The first 4 sessions begin March 4, and the next 4 sessions begin April 1. If you are interested, please email gocheer@gofbcd.org for more information. 

MARRIAGE CONFERENCE
March 28

First Baptist believes that God's Word provides the help we all need to make a marriage flourish and thrive. As Christian marriages grow, they are to point people to the great love between Christ and His Church as is found in Ephesians 5:22-33. Dr. Danny Akin will be guiding attendees to invest in their marriages on Friday evening March 28 for the 2025 Marriage Conference. Go ahead and let your friends know about this conference and make it a double date night! Watch for more information each week. 

FLAG FOOTBALL

Flag Football registration is now open for 1st-8th grade boys and girls. Go Sports Athletics is eager to help young athletes grow in their skill while simultaneously strengthening their relationship with Christ.
