First Connection is this Sunday, December 7. Join us in the Fellowship Hall to learn more about who FBCD is and where we are going. The class is taught in both English and Spanish and is a great first-step in joining our church family or simply hearing our heart for the gospel, our community, and for making disciples. Childcare and lunch are provided. You can RSVP by clicking the link below. However, walk-ups are always welcome, too.

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. This offering is unique from other mission offerings in that 100% of gifts provide for missionaries all over the world. This year, our church’s goal is $30,000. Please prayerfully consider giving above your normal tithe and join us in this opportunity to take the gospel to the nations.

Christmas time is here! We have two exciting Christmas events here at FBCD this year. Mark your calendars now to join us for our annual Worship Arts Christmas Concert – God With Us on December 14 at 6:00 pm. Prepare for the holiday season through a time of worship, celebration, and fellowship with a reception following the concert. The Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on December 24 at 5:00 pm is also as sweet time to invite friends and family as we remember through this advent season that Jesus brings hope, joy, peace, and love.

SURVIVING THE HOLIDAYS

We will be hosting a GriefShare “Surviving the Holidays” event tonight at 6:30 pm in room 404. We would love for you to join us for dinner in the Fellowship Hall for free starting at 5:45 pm and available until 6:30 pm. This will be a time of fellowship and encouragement for all who attend. Anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one is invited to join us. The event is open to anyone. Register below or contact the church office.

GCA BASKETBALL GAME

GCA has an exciting event happening on December 8 which is their first home basketball game! The game starts at 6:30 pm in the Mark Cagiano gym. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids kindergarten and up. Come out to support the GCA lions!

Our Winter event this coming year is a retreat to Camp Pinnacle in Clayton, GA on January 30 – February 1, 2026. Our theme for the retreat is "He Knows My Name," and our featured guest speaker is Dawn Mooring. Early bird registration price is $200 at the table in the foyer or online and is only available if you register before November 30. Space is limited so we recommend registering sooner rather than later!
