FIRST CONNECTION
August 9
First Connection is Sunday, August 9. Join us in the Fellowship Hall to learn more about who FBCD is and where we are going. The class is taught in both English and Spanish and is a great first-step in joining our church family or simply hearing our heart for the gospel, our community, and for making disciples. Childcare and lunch are provided. You can RSVP by clicking the link below. However, walk-ups are always welcome, too.

Our Kids’ Ministry is supporting Operation Christmas Child through collecting “WOW” Items throughout July. Please bring your donations to the Kids’ Café. For any questions, see Pastor Phillip or Ms. Rosemary Higgins, and for assistance on what to bring, click the link below.

MEN'S PRAYER BREAKFAST

Our Men's Ministry monthly breakfast will begin this Saturday, August 1. Meet at 8:00 am at Golden Corral for a time of breakfast and fellowship.

FALL WEDNESDAY NIGHT KICK-OFF

We will have our Fall Wednesday Night Kick-Off on August 5th from 6:00-7:45 pm. Join us for food, fellowship & games, and to learn more about our Fall Bible Studies. Be sure to wear your favorite team’s jersey/gear!

SOCCER
Registration is now open for our 2026 soccer season. Registration is for kids who will be going into K5 – 8th grade. The cost is $100 that includes their Jersey and socks. For an additional $10 shorts can be purchased. Practices will be on Monday evenings and games on Saturday mornings and will all be at First Baptist Douglasville. Registration for all of our Men's, Women's, & Pastor’s Bible Studies is now open. For more information on the Bible studies we offer, click the link below. In addition, the first Wednesday nights of September, October, & November we will have our monthly prayer gathering for 6th grade and up. The schedule for Fall programming is below:

Adventure Air Lock-In is August 14, 10:30 pm to August 15, 6:00 am. Our lock-in this year will have student drop off and pick up at Adventure Air in Kennesaw, GA. This will be a lock-in overnight with endless amounts of fun. Students do not need to bring a sleeping bag or blankets. Students will be fed pizza at midnight along with a small breakfast on Saturday morning. Registration closes on August 10. Register at the link below!
