GO LIFE MINISTRY
GO Life is a new initiative focusing on the dignity of all human life. It will serve as the umbrella initiative for several ministries in our community including our new Foster & Orphan Care Ministry, Gift of Love ministry that helps provide food for children, our partnership with the Douglasville Pregnancy Resource Center, and more. To learn how you can serve within one or more of the GO Life ministries, please contact Director of Missions, Jim Cook, at jcook@gofbcd.org.
May is National Foster Care Month, a time to recognize that we can each play a part in enhancing the lives of children and youth in foster care. Starting in 1988, U.S. Presidents issued annual proclamations in recognition of National Foster Care Month to show appreciation and gratitude to foster parents across the nation. What role can you play in helping foster children, encouraging foster parents, or becoming a foster parent yourself? There will be a table in the foyer on Sunday mornings following the worship service to find out more information.
