SUNDAY, AUGUST 24

Questions:
1. What does it mean to worship God with your whole heart?
Worshiping God with your whole heart means loving Him sincerely and showing it through your actions, not just pretending. God cares because He wants our true love, like a friend who values your honest attention.

2. Why do you think God wants us to care about justice, like helping others who are treated unfairly?
God wants us to care about justice because He is a just God, a loving God, and one who hates injustice.

3. What are some ways we might act “complacent” or lazy in our faith, and how can we avoid this?
Being complacent means half-heartedly following God, like skipping prayer or ignoring His rules. We can avoid this by praying daily and reading the Bible to stay excited about our faith.

4. How can we make sure our actions show “righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” in our everyday lives?
Righteousness means living God’s way, like being honest and kind, and this should never stop. We can do this by praying, reading the Bible, and standing up for what’s right daily.
